Billing Statement Delay

via email and website

April 10, 2026

Dear Residents,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we resolved a temporary delay in the delivery of your utility billing statements, both by mail and email.

Earlier this month, the District implemented several system upgrades intended to improve service reliability, accuracy, and cybersecurity protections for internal operations. As part of these improvements, we experienced an unexpected disruption in the billing statement delivery process.

In addition, the District upgraded its meter reading process alongside enhancements to our meter reading software. During this transition, a small number of meters were affected by a decimal‑placement error in the meter output, which resulted in incorrect readings for those accounts. This issue has been identified and fully corrected.

All systems have now been adjusted, and we do not expect these issues to impact future meter readings or billing statements. These upgrades were made to improve long‑term accuracy, reliability, and service to the community.

To provide residents additional time, no late fees will be applied for this billing period. If you have not received your statement, believe your bill may be affected, or have any questions, please contact the District Office at 972‑442‑6875, and our staff will be happy to assist you.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding as we continue working to improve services for the Brockdale, Commons of Camden and Seis Lagos communities.

Thank you for being a valued part of Brockdale, Commons of Camden and Seis Lagos.
