Board Elections

The Seis Lagos Utility District is overseen by a five-member Board of Directors, each elected at-large by qualified voters residing within the District. This means that directors do not represent specific neighborhoods—such as Seis Lagos, Brockdale Estates, or the Commons of Camden—but instead serve the interests of the entire District. Board elections are conducted in accordance with Texas law, and directors serve staggered four-year terms to ensure continuity. To be eligible for service on the Board, individuals must either own taxable property within the District or be registered voters residing in the District. This inclusive requirement allows both property owners and resident renters to be considered for Board membership.
