Regular Board of Directors meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of each month. However, adjustments to this schedule may occur due to Federal Holidays, at the discretion of the President or, in their absence, the Vice President, taking into account circumstances like death, disability, incapacity, or absence.
Special Board of Directors meetings may be called by the President, and if the President is unavailable due to death, disability, incapacity, or absence, the Vice President has the authority to initiate such meetings. These special meetings may be held within or outside the District.
It is essential that all meetings, whether regular or special, are organized and conducted in strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
Board of Directors meetings are usually held at 7:00 PM at the Seis Lagos Community Services Association Cabana located at 222 Seis Lagos Trail, Lucas, TX 75098. Time and location subject to change.

To receive email notifications for meetings of the Board of Directors and agendas of topics to be discussed in meetings, please email the District at: district@slud.us. In the subject line of your email please type: BOD MEETING EMAIL NOTIFICATION REQUEST. In your request, please indicate the community you live in (The Commons of Camden, Brockdale, or Seis Lagos) and include the email address you want added to the distribution list.
COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Citizen input during Board of Director Meetings: An opportunity for citizens to address the Seis Lagos Utility District Board of Directors on matters which are on the agenda (TX Gov’t Code § 551.007(b)) or are not scheduled for consideration (non-agenda items).
NOTE: The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits deliberation by the Board of Directors of any subject which is not on the posted agenda, therefore the Board of Directors will not be able to discuss or act on items not listed on this agenda, other than to make statements of specific factual information, recite existing policy in response to the inquiry, or deliberate placement on a future agenda (TX Gov’t Code § 551.042).
