The Seis Lagos Utility District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, all of whom are elected at-large by qualified voters within the District. This means directors are not elected to represent specific neighborhoods such as Seis Lagos, Brockdale Estates, or the Commons of Camden—rather, each director represents the entire District. Elections are held in accordance with Texas law, and directors serve staggered four-year terms. Eligibility to serve on the Board requires either ownership of taxable land within the District or being a qualified voter who resides in the District. This ensures that both property owners and resident renters who are registered to vote may be considered for service on the Board.
